For people who're looking to get warm leads and build relationships with potential customers who are aware of the problem.
In order to execute this well, you'll need to have one big and actionable guide that subtly promotes your product/services.
You'll use this guide to share it with your potential customers, since they're interested in the similar type of content.
There are two important background steps for this to work well:
What you'll do is basically scrape the people who requested someone's guide in the comments, and reach out to them with content. This is a non-pushy and relevant way of getting new relevant connections in the space, building relationships, and closing new deals.
Hey [firstName]
Saw you commented on [influencerName] post about [post topic]. I guess we have [common interest] in common. Would love to connect!
[firstName], did you enjoy reading [influencerName] guide? I liked when he wrote about [one-line sentence from the guide].
Btw, I also wrote [description of an article in the same space].
It helped me [results]. Would you like me to send you a copy?
Hey [firstName], I was wondering if you had time to read my article and if you had any ideas for your [the problem you’re solving].
Would love to hear your thoughts.
First, the audience you’re reaching out to is already aware of the problem you’re trying to solve. Why?
Because they looked for a solution from the influencers in your space.
How did they do that? By commenting on one of those “comment & get” posts on LinkedIn (such as comment “guide” and I’ll send you my step-by-step guide to do X”)
Second, your message request is personalized since probably NO ONE will use that hook on them.
Not to mention that you’re reaching out to them on LinkedIn. Your cold message is more likely to attract their eyeballs if you send it on LinkedIn rather than email (since email is too crowded).
