How this workflow automation works?
BuiltWith
Identify companies who use specific technologies
Apollo
Find decision makers and their emails
Let's break it down
This workflow automation is for you if:
Your (or clients) prospects are dependent on a few specific technologies (i.e if you're looking for ecommerce companies, they're mostly using Shopify or BigCommerce)
Or you're looking for complementary products (i.e. your client is selling a cold email outreach software, so you might wanna look for prospects who're using HubSpot, Pipedrive, or some other CRM)
Or you're going after competitors' customers (i.e. your product is far more superior than the majority of other tools in the market)
With this in mind, let's get started!
#1 Find prospects who use a specific technology with BuiltWith
Go to builtwith.com
In the search bar on top, search the technology you're looking for, and click "Lookup"
Find the technology match, and click on "Download the list of all websites using {your Technology}":
Now, if you have budget, you can create an account on BuiltWith. But it's al ittle bit pricey. It starts at $295/mo
However, if you're low on budget, or you need just this one-off list, there's an alternative approach.
Go to Fiverr
Search for "BuiltWith"
And pick one of the freelancers to provide a list for you.
This approach will cost you around $50 per technology list. Just make sure that you explain them in detail what kind of list do you need, and what's the criteria you're looking for.
#2 Find decision makers and emails with Apollo
Create an account on Apollo.io
Go to "Search", then "people"
On the left side, you'll find filters. Click on "Company" > "Include/Exclude List of Companies" > Then copy/paste the domains of the companies from your BuiltWith list in the box:
Also, in the filters section, under the "Job Title" filter, write down the job titles you're targeting.
Now again, we have the same option as with BuiltWith. If you're on a budget and you're planning to use Apollo constantly, then buy a subscription and download the information.
If you, however, don't wanna pay for Apollo every month, you can always go to exportapollo.io. Just copy/paste there the URL of an Apollo search, top up your balance (it starts at around $15 per list for about 2000 contacts), and you'll get information from Apollo in 5 minutes on your email.
That's it! Now you have a complete list of leads, with decision makers and their contact information.
