How this workflow automation works?

TexAu

It will scrape Facebook members and find LinkedIn URLs

Let's break it down

First, you need to identify a few relevant Facebook communities where your target audience hangs out.

Avoid groups that are too big (since they're mostly spammy). Instead, look for either:

  • Smaller but high-quality groups (i.e. 2000-3000 people)
  • Private communities with membership (such as Exit Five for example)
  • Competitors' Facebook groups

Once you have a few Facebook groups, it's time to scrape their members.

#1 Scrape Facebook Group members with TexAu

  • Create an account on TexAu, and install its' Chrome extension
  • Paste the URL of the group you want to scrape to the field "Group URL"
  • This one is optional, but if you want, you can select the limit of members you want to scrape, as well as the date they joined.
  • Once you're done, click on the "Extract Members".
  • Download the CSV from the results page.

Now we've got the name of our potential prospects. But how are we going to find their LinkedIn accounts?

Don't worry. We won't be doing this manually.

Again, we'll leverage TexAu's automations for this one.

#2 Turn the names into LinkedIn profile URLs

  • Use this automation on TexAu.
  • Upload your CSV
  • Match the dedicated column name with their full name
  • Once you're done, click on the "Find LinkedIn Profile"

Now we wait for a few minutes, and we'll download the CSV from the results page.

Once you have your CSV, you can add the leads to the Expandi and start your LinkedIn outreach.
