This is a quick and easy method to quickly get personalized Icebreakers for each LinkedIn profile you wanna reach out to.
I know, this is not the best way to do that, but if you have a huuuge list, then better this than spending entire day personalizigin 20-30 Icebreakers.
Anyway, let's get started.
For this automation to works, you'll need three things:
Let's break this down step-by-step.
[] Open your Google Drive and create a new spreadsheet
[] In your sheet, name the first column "LinkedIn profiles"
[] In each line, copy/paste the URL of LinkedIn profiles you want to scrape. Your sheet will look like this (but with more entries):
[] Make the sheet publicly visible through the link
[] Open PhantomBuster
[] Find the "LinkedIn Profile Scraper Phantom"
[] Paste the URL of your publicly visible sheet
[] Connect your LinkedIn account by following the instructions.
[] Set the frequency to 50-70 profiles a day (be careful with this, don't be too greedy)
[] Run your phantom
[] Download results
[] Create a new sheet in your previous Google spreadsheet
[] Click on File > Import > Upload > Upload the .csv file you downloaded from PhantomBuster
[] As an "import location" choose "Create new sheet(s)" and click on the 'Import data" button
Congrats! Your sheet will now look similar to this:
[] Let's clean this sheet. Delete all columns so only these five can remain:
Let's connect our prospecting sheet with ChatGPT.
[] Go to "Extensions" in the menu > Add-ons > Get add-ons
[] Type "GPT" in the search and click on GPT for Sheets by Talarian.
[] Now click on the "Install" button
[] Go back to your Google Spreadsheet, click on "Extensions" in the menu > hover over the GPT extension you just installed > click "Open"
[] Follow the set-up steps on your right side and add your OpenAI API key (You'll need to have an OpenAI account to do this)
[] Once you finish your set-up, create a new column in your spreadsheet and name it "Icebreaker." Like this:
[] In the first cell of the "Icebreaker" column, type down this function: =GPT("summarise in one sentence and start the sentence with I saw. Sentence is about him, so use you pronouns", C2) - where C2 should be the first row in the "description" column.
[] Copy it for every record you have in your database.
You spreadsheet will now look like this:
Congrats! You have an entire list of prospects with email and an icebreaker.

[] Open your Expandi account.
[] Go to your chosen campaign:
